We offer a comprehensive selection of vaccines for adults and children.
- Flu and COVID-19 Vaccines: Stay protected from seasonal illnesses. We offer the latest influenza and COVID-19 vaccines to reduce your risk of severe disease and help prevent community spread. We recommend an annual flu shot for everyone over six months of age.
- Tetanus (Tdap & Td):
- Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis): This vaccine protects against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (whooping cough). It is especially recommended for adults who have never received it, and it’s a crucial vaccine for pregnant women during each pregnancy to protect their newborn.
- Td (Tetanus and Diphtheria): The Td vaccine is a booster shot that protects against tetanus and diphtheria. The CDC recommends a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years for all adults to maintain protection.
- Varicella Titers: A varicella titer is a blood test to check if you have immunity to chickenpox, either from a previous infection or vaccination. This test is often required for school or job compliance (especially for healthcare workers) if you cannot provide documentation of your immunity. If your titer test shows you are not immune, we can provide the vaccine.
- Hepatitis A and B:
- Hepatitis A: A highly effective vaccine that protects against a liver infection caused by the Hepatitis A virus. It is typically given in a series of two doses.
- Hepatitis B: This vaccine protects against a serious liver disease that can lead to long-term health problems. The CDC recommends the Hepatitis B vaccine for all adults under 60 and for those over 60 with certain risk factors. The full series usually consists of two or three doses.
- Polio (IPV): The Polio vaccine protects against the poliovirus, which can cause paralysis. While most adults were vaccinated as children, we can provide this vaccine for those who are unvaccinated or need a booster, such as international travelers.
- Pneumonia (PCV13): The Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine (PCV13) protects against 13 types of pneumococcal bacteria that can cause serious infections like pneumonia and meningitis. It is recommended for adults aged 65 and older and for those with certain underlying health conditions.
- Hemophilus (Hib): The Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib) vaccine protects against a serious bacterial infection that can cause meningitis, pneumonia, and other severe illnesses. While it is a routine childhood vaccine, it is also recommended for some adults with specific health risks.
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, and Rubella): This vaccine protects against three highly contagious diseases. We provide MMR vaccines for adults who may have never been vaccinated, especially those working in healthcare or attending school, where two doses are often required for adequate protection.
